Travel

To come to the hotel "El Palasiet", the place where the conference will be held, you have two alternatives:

1) From Barcelona airport (El Prat) to Castellón

You need to catch the train from the airport. The name of the stop you want is Barcelona Sants (otherwise known as Sants Estació).

The RENFE train will take you from Barcelona airport to the city centre where you can change for another train at Barcelona Sants (Sants Estació). Journey time is about 25 minutes. The Train station is based at T2 in-between T2A and T2B therefore if you are arriving at T1 and want to catch the RENFE train into the town centre you will need to catch the airport shuttle bus to the Train station at T2 first.

A single ticket costs €3.15 for your journey from the airport to Sants Station.

From Barcelona Sants to Castellón train station, you can catch as R. Express as Talgo.

2) From Valencia airport (Manises) to Castellón

To travel from Valencia airport to “El Palasiet” we recommend public transport. The underground station is situated directly below the airport. Take line 3 (Airport- Rafael-Bunyol) until Xàtiva station. It takes about 21 minutes, and costs approximately €1.90.

Xàtiva station is situated in the city centre, next to the bullring and the North train Station.

From North Station to Castellón Station, take line C-6.

3) From Castellón train station to “El Palasiet”

When you arrive at Castellón Station, a good option is take a taxi from Castellón to “El Palasiet”, which costs approximately €12. Although, from Castellón to Benicassim you could take a train; and take a taxi from Benicassim station to “El Palasiet”.

Origen - Start station - therefore select Aeropuerto = Airport from the drop down menu

Destino - Destination station - for Barcelona city centre select Barcelona Sants.

It´s best to ignore this box and just select your chosen date in the box below.

Leave the next few boxes as they are then just click the Horarios button which means Timetable. You will then be presented with a results table showing you the departure times.

The hora Salida is the departure time the hora llegada is the arrival time.

Stay

The conference will be held at the Spa Hotel El Palasiet, Benicassim (Castellón, Spain). The spa hotel is located among the gardens of an antique classical villa from the 19^th century. El Palasiet was totally reformed in 2002 and amplified in 2005. It is situated in a privileged place just 50 meters away from the Mediterranean sea and surrounded by the “desierto de las palmas”, with a mild warm clima. It is characterized to be one of the most suggestive hotels on the Spanish eastern coast with a very personal decoration and friendly atmosphere that offer you enchantment and originality.
